About Emma Shepherd
Emma Shepherd is the founder of The AI Advantage Academy and the designer of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Standards Office-accredited artificial intelligence (AI) curricula. She works with organisations to strengthen AI strategy, governance and workforce capability.
As a British Standards Institution (BSI)-certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor, Emma combines recognised AI risk and governance expertise with skills development.
Since 2024, Emma has worked with the Skills and Business Hub as its curriculum and delivery partner for Department for Work and Pensions-funded AI for Business Skills Bootcamps in Berkshire. She has written and delivered programmes that have helped more than 100 business professionals develop practical strategies for AI adoption. With more than 30 years of commercial experience, Emma brings a practical understanding of leadership, organisational decision-making and the commercial implications of AI adoption.
